By request of the State enterprises assay control office of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine a spectrometer, which allows to measure concentration of the basic metal in alloys of jewels was developed.

The device is unique for the following reasons:

the alloy analysis is made on depth 50 – 100 microns from a surface;
the analysis is combined with process of drawing of a laser brand, therefore any traces doesn’t remain;
an error of measurement of concentration of the basic metal in an alloy is 0, 1 % (1 test).
